Exceptional analytic skills and strong theoretic and applied computer science background are required; in particular, multi-agent systems, concurrent programming, distributed computing and cloud computing skills, using various languages/tools such as JAVA / PYTHON / SCALA / PYTHON / C / C++. Besides this also proven experience in working with real-world network data and simulation of large-scale distributed systems are required. Skills and Knowledge Required – The candidate is expected to closely collaborate with the Almende team of researchers and developers. – Furthermore, Almende expects from the successful candidates large independence and responsibility in carrying out their work and ready involvement in running European projects to showcase and publish their findings. Requirements: – a Ph.D. degree and postdoctoral experience of at least 4 years in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, applied physics or computational biology. – A convincing publication record.
