voor de afdeling Biotech Operations Janssen Biologics Biotech Operations is het kloppend hart van Janssen Biologics. Hier produceren wij binnen de regelgeving van cGMP met trots onze producten/anti-lichamen. Dat gebeurt in twee fasen. In de fermentatiefase wordt door middel van celkweek op grote schaal het eiwitproduct geproduceerd. Daarna volgt de tweede fase, de bewerkingsfase, waarin het eiwit dat via de bioreactoren verkregen is wordt opgezuiverd. Dit opzuiveren gebeurt op de subafdelingen Primary Recovery en Downstream Processing m.b.v. verschillende kolomchromatografie – en filtratietechnieken. De medicijnen die we maken zijn injectievloeistoffen, die uiteindelijk rechtstreeks bij de patiënt in de bloedbaan worden ingebracht. Schoon en secuur werken is daarom bij ons van uiterst belang. Alle medewerkers zijn gekleed in speciale pakken en werken volgens strenge veiligheidsvoorschriften en kwaliteitseisen, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) genaamd. Als technician op de afdeling BTO houd je je bezig met de uitvoering van een van de stappen uit ons productieproces. Je werkt nauw samen in een team van vaste collega’s, waarmee je samen verantwoordelijk bent voor de uitvoering en verbetering van het proces. De taken zijn dan ook afhankelijk van de uiteindelijke afdeling van BTO waar jij werkt. Voorbeelden van werkzaamheden op de afdeling BTO zijn werkzaamheden met fermentoren, verschillende chromatografie stappen, HPLC-werkzaamheden (bepaling zuiverheid), eiwittechnieken, celkweek en medium of bufferbereiding. De werkzaamheden worden onder cGMP condities uitgevoerd. Hieronder vallen registratie van alle productie handelingen in batch records en logboeken. Iedere nieuwe medewerker krijgt in het begin een begeleider en wordt uitvoerig getraind via on-the-job trainingsprogramma’s: leren op je werkplek.

Biotech Operations – Center of Expertise – Purification Janssen Biologics (tijdelijke positie van 12 maanden) Binnen de afdeling BTO-COE-Purification zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste (Sr.) Technician. De afdeling BTO-CoE-Purification is verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten, onderhouden en verbeteren van productie processen en systemen op de gebieden Primary Recovery, Down Stream Processing en Buffer Preparation.met betrekking tot van veiligheid (SHE), compliance (GMP) en productie capaciteit (MPS). De Purification groep is tevens verantwoordelijk voor geven van (introductie) trainingen, als ook het leveren van gepakte chromatografiekolommen voor gebruik in het productieproces.
