Sales Development Specialist-Automotive
SABIC is now hiring a Sales Development Specialist- Automotive, focusing on South-West Germany. The Challenge In this role you are fully accountable for the assigned set of automotive key customers (Revenue and margin responsibilities) including price- and contract negotiations, Risk management & credit collection in co-operation with finance, Logistic and Claim handling together with Customer Service, Project development with our Technical Service Engineers as well as helping to identify new innovative ideas within the automotive arena. The candidate will be the main driver and coordinator for the successful implementation of our growth strategy at buying customer base (typically Tier 1 or bigger converters) and OEM’s as well as new potential accounts. This includes the ownership for new projects, translation activities as well as share/shift activities. Other activities, typical for a key-account management role, are included such as the organization of high level visits, road shows and seminars, Marketing Communication Activities, such as fare & congress visits and presentations. Collection and observation of competition is a natural part of the role. The candidate needs to be able to develop good relationships within all hierarchy levels at customers and within SABIC IP to accomplish the challenging tasks. Your Profile Technical/polymer background with 5+ years in an automotive environment Sales and/or Technical Marketing Experience in polymers Project management skills, strong communicator Authentic personality – a good ambassador for the SABIC brand to outside world Fluent in German language and very good English skills Likes intensive travelling within Germany and come to the headquarters at Bergen op Zoom/Sittard or international travel when needed to fulfill the role.
