Role Summary Attached to the Business Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of the products’ configuration management process, relying on standardized tools and templatesYour main responsibilities will cover: You will be responsible in due time of carefully controlling the configuration items and engineering configuration tool. You must be comfortable with various disciplines such as system, hardware subsystem, configuration management software and product’s lifecycle management tools. You will organize and co-chair the meetings of the Configuration Control Board (CCB). You will also be responsible for: – Training and supporting members of development teams – Creating the products’ packaging This position requires a solid understanding of the signaling field. This includes (but is not limited to) the configuration’s identification, control (changing external interfaces and changes made by subcontractors), configuration’s check and audits, products’ structures (norms, COTS, parts), software structures and products’ deployments (including installation notes or updates). You will carry out your mission as part of a multi-site program, in an international context. Curious, you will be able to understand what information is required, where information is stored and how to retrieve it.
