Due to ongoing expansion and the optimisation of our Engineering Solutions, the following opportunity has arisen: Application Design Engineer – Servomotors Location: Cork/Ireland, Böblingen/Germany or Amsterdam/Netherlands Responsibilities: Lead the design win process (motor only) from identification to production Manage several parties spread across Europe and India to successfully deliver a design win, meeting the customer requirements Provide customer support in a timely and responsive manner Support sales to identify new business opportunities with new/existing customers, follow-up leads and visit customers with our Account Managers Assist management to prepare sales support including collateral material, training, press release coordination and application engineering support Requirements: University degree, ideally with a major in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Sound experience in a similar role with extensive customer interfacing, along with a good blend of technical and product marketing knowledge In-depth knowledge of related products and technologies will be required Working experience in a global environment Excellent communication and project management skills Persuasive team player who can deliver results in a partnering style Fluent English, ideally combined with a good level of German Willingness to travel frequently (25% – 50%) Moog employees trust each other to work hard and to do the right thing.
