Role Summary/Purpose The Validation and Verification (V&V) Engineer will be primarily responsible carrying out test activities for systems integration products/solutions. The V&V Engineer is responsible for ensuring all Validation and Verification test activities throughout the test life cycle are carried out including the development, maintenance and execution of all test cases. Essential Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Design test cases Peer review of test cases and design Execute test cases Raise defects for product non conformance Setup environments required for test execution Participate in technical reviews and contribute to technical discussions Contribute in decision making for approving or rejecting a release Analyze requirements and report out testable/not testable Report out defects in products & design Level of Authority Decision to pass/fail test cases Quality Specific Goals: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required 4. Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables 5. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
