Manager IT
The IT-Manager Leads and manages directly 3 team leaders (IT User Support, System management and Application management) and indirect the total IT-department of 18 FTE. Is responsible for managing and implementing of IT related activities in the area of Service Management, Change Management, IT infrastructure and business applications like ERP systems (SAP). Is responsible for collaborating with the business-unit management, all technology areas of the IT Department and outside consultants to assess feasibility, determine costs versus benefits, prioritize projects, develop and implement systems plans and provide on going support to address the information requirements of the business and adhere to established strategic business and systems objectives. Develops cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and changing existing applications. Coordinates activities of project teams and manage project schedules and costs. Manages a technology area whose members closely collaborate with their customer in examining solution options and are responsible for planning and managing multiple application systems development, maintenance, and enhancement projects utilizing computing architecture platforms. Provides direction for the development and utilization of assigned resources. Minimizes investment and maximizes value of the available resources of the business unit at all levels. Is responsible for the site IT infrastructure and updates (uniformity, high degree of computerization of re-enterable processes to reduce manual handling). Is responsible for the operational performance of the running applications/solutions. Reports to the Finance Director. Profile of the candidate The right candidate for the position of IT-manager has a proven track record in IT management positions in the industries. He has successfully built up an IT organization, is able to create a team with a good team spirit, is able to bring constructive changes in the team and is strong in supporting all target groups of internal customers. He creates enthusiasm, inspires and persuades the organization through passion, respect and logic. He has a Bachelor degree for example in IT or Business Administration. He has an extensive relevant professional experience in the field of logistics and/or manufacturing. He has a strong background in IT Support & Management processes (ITIL) and has excellent Project Management Skills. Preferably he has a previous experience in an international operating organization, has excellent people- leadership and communication skills and is fluent in Dutch and English.
