The Challenge To initiate technical strategies in Business Unit / Value Team / Technical Marketing Department plans, by: Identifying technical opportunities for SABIC IP at leading Automotive Lighting accounts, considering the overall value chain. Setting up & implementing required short and long term product portfolio strategies providing value propositions to meet customer requirements Develop MGAP and MGPP for the European Lighting segment to drive NPIs & NTIs on time. Autonomous steering of new business development, understanding commercial and global considerations Ensuring profitability by owning product portfolio & rationalization Building productive technical customer relationships by maximizing value at leading international accounts Key Responsibilities include: Lead translation and specification of key products and applications for the European Automotive Lighting segment understanding customer needs and delivering required products and technologies. Development and implementation of product portfolio strategy offering maximum value Identify, Initiate and manage new business development projects, inspire sales Technical Account Management at SABIC IP strategic accounts Optimal alignment between requirements of (a group of) strategic accounts and SABIC’s capabilities. Develop, implement and align the technical part of the strategic account plans. Value Creation: – Identifying new customers / prospects – Manage Application and Product Development Projects – Realize Technical Approvals for Materials (applications) – Value capturing by taking in account the complete value chain and end markets Your Profile Minimum Bachelor (e.g. Polymer Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Lighting Technology) Minimum 3-5 year experience in a technical role Proficient in the use of process oriented tools associated with Kaizen, six sigma GB/BB certified, LEAN, FMEA.
