Sourcing Leader Small Sites / Technisch Inkoper
Department Within the European procurement organization the small sites procurement department is responsible for local procurement activities for 7 production sites in Italy, Austria, Belgium, UK and the Netherlands. The department recently has expanded its activities to include 11 sales office locations in Europe. Goal of the department is to serve these locations throughout Europe in the best way by arranging the procurement activities in an efficient way and to create value by maximizing leverage from pan-European & global contracts. The Challenge Lead local Sourcing & Contracting activities for the small sites by developing and implementing a sourcing strategy plan for Technical / Facility Goods & Services, resulting in lowest total cost of ownership and improved customer satisfaction. Content of the job: Responsible for the local technical / facility goods & services spent by developing category plans and defining and executing local category strategy. Analyze internal demand, identify and select potential opportunities and (new) suppliers, prepare and negotiate contracts, followed by completion and implementation of the contracts, follow-up of contract implementation by purchasers, evaluate and enhance supplier performance. Establish, manage and optimize relationships with (new) suppliers in order to sustain continuity of supply within the assigned category and optimize on a continuous basis the supplier portfolio. Support the activities to become the trusted partner of internal customers and contribute to improved customer satisfaction on the location. Guide purchasers based on experience and knowledge in daily support of the purchasing performance and processes. Participate in European and cross functional teams to maximize value creation on both local and regional level. Ensure compliance to regional and local compliance, global standards, requirements, policies and procedures including EHS. Your Profile Bachelor or Master degree in business discipline or equivalent built up by experience, ideally complemented with a commercial training/education; Minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial environment and knowledge of the technical services market; Familiar with category plan development and demonstrated negotiating and commercial skills; Good influencing, analytical, conceptual and strategic planning skills; Cultural awareness; Growth potential towards regional/global sourcing management job; Fluent in English and Dutch, experience in German or Italian is a plus; Willing to travel frequently throughout Europe.
