For our office in Amsterdam we are looking for a Software Test Engineer To extend our Quality Assurance team we are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer. We expect a positive and assertive team player who has a strong desire to succeed in a team- and customer-oriented environment. Primary Roles/Responsibilities of the Software Test Engineer You will work in one of our multi-disciplinary Scrum teams and guard the quality of deliverables made by your team. You will participate in user story analysis, estimation and (test) design. You take the lead in developing and delivering test coverage for the user stories delivered by your team. Our automated test suite includes tests programmed using Uniface (4GL), Test Partner (VB) and Java. Required Skills/Competencies – +3 years’ experience as Software Test Engineer for development tools. – Bachelor or higher degree in computer science. – Technology-minded, strong drive to learn new skills. – Strong analytical skills combined with a critical mindset. – Effective communicator, pro-active. – Fluent in English. – UNIX OS experience. – Windows OS experience. – Perl- or Shell-scripting experience. – C, C++ or Java programming experience.
