Auto Advanced Technology Leader
Department The Innovative Plastics business is looking for an Auto Advanced Technology Leader. This is a new position reporting directly into the Vice President of Technology & Innovation (T&I) within the Innovative Plastics business. This new role was created to help advance the long term pipeline of Automotive technical programs and to have overall responsibility for Automotive Technology programs across SABIC businesses. This position will also be a member of the Automotive business team. Responsibilities Defines, prioritizes and owns complex portfolio of technology programs that are executed across multiple product technology teams from across the SABIC enterprise. Primary technical interface with CTO’s and other senior technologists at Automotive OEMs, tiers, and other external forums to both respond to and shape the industry needs, establishing a long term SABIC automotive technology roadmap. Partner with executive level technology leaders to influence existing platforms Initiate new engineering thermoplastics product and application platforms that support Automotive. Accountable to define and sign off on new product introductions with Auto Product Marketing team. Define appropriate advanced technology plan for Exatec (polycarbonate glazing technology) Define Technology mechanisms for evolving Polypropylene (PP) globalization plan. Interface with Polymers SBU (Strategic Business Unit), to influence new PP resins required for next gen PP compounded products for Auto. Build & execute strategy and ways of working with all other SBU Technology teams for development of products. Define and lead external technology programs. Ensure coordination and alignment with internal technology activities. Serve as primary champion for SABIC Innovative Plastics Advanced Technology and SABIC corporate sponsored programs. Project System Engineer / ERTMS
In a project system engineering team, come and take part in the development of an innovative and complete solution for the railway signaling environment! You will be involved in a human-sized team to define and improve a technical solution that will be adaptable to both high-speed lines as well as secondary networks of passengers or freight lines. This innovative solution includes an interlocking system, a complete ERTMS system (On board and trackside equipment) and interfaces with the supervision system, the field equipment, the communication networks, … Your main responsibilities will cover: Responsibility for definition of the technical vision on deployment activities at system level, but also for subsystems provided in the solution Participation in the definition of interfaces with the environment in which this signaling solution will be integrated Definition of strategy to optimize solution deployment and ensure consistency between technical view, deployment cost and installation cost.
