Purpose for the position The customer’s needs are shifting from products to integrated service offerings. To support them in their changing information processes, relevant new service propositions are required. Océ challenge you to create, develop, architect and capitalize new service concepts on the market which are strategic growth areas for them. Main Accountabilities You have a thorough understanding of market dynamics and strong abilities to assess customer’s needs as well as those of the customer’s customers. Complemented by a profound understanding of technical capabilities to architect and develop new concepts to deliver relevant service solutions. You signal new business opportunities and develop business concepts for how to best exploit their value. And excel in delivering first of a kind service concepts and scaling them up for multiple clients and markets. You feel challenged by validating new business opportunities with lead customers in close cooperation with marketing, sales and service channels. Candidate profile As a Business Development Manager Services Concepts you have a master degree, preferably with a business process and a technical background complemented with professional commercial experience. At least you have 3-5 years working experience in a role where you have developed and validated new propositions and business concepts in a B2B environment from a technical point of view. You can have experience as business developer or architect for new business concepts combined with commercial sense. Experience in information and document services is a preference. Also you can have your background in industries like Telecom, High Tech, Electronica, Health or Energy where they develop new concepts for the new way of working. In these industries you have a proven track record in developing new service concepts for a huge customer base. With your persuasiveness you are able to convince and inspire key stakeholders in your projects. You communicate clearly and concisely. Moreover you take ownership, and show leadership towards delivering services innovation as a real entrepreneur. Primarily focused on quality and making your projects successful in the long run. With a preference to work in a multidisciplinary team context in a transformative environment. You are willing to travel abroad, mainly for short trips in Europe.
